Ingredients

2 8z packages Cream Cheese
1 jar of Salsa (really any kind you like)
0.25 Cup Onions, diced , (optional)
1 Cup Cheddar Cheese, grated
1 Cup Iceberg Lettuce, sliced and diced
1 Cup Tomatoes, diced
0.5 Cup Black Olives, sliced

Directions

  1. Set out cream cheese for 30 minutes to soften.
  2. Add salsa to cream cheese a tablespoon at a time and mix. (I don't know exactly how much I add, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 cup. You want to add a spoon or 2 at a time, mix and taste. You're looking for a pink color that tastes good.)
  3. Spread cream cheese mixture into a 9x13" baking dish evenly.
  4. Put in refrigerator for at least 30 mins to an hour to firm up.
  5. Remove from refrigerator. If using onions top evenly over cream cheese.
  6. Layer the rest of the ingredients on top, evenly - cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, the black olives.

Notes

Serve with chips.

It's a good idea to leave in fridge, uncovered, a little bit after layering everything. That helps the other veggies dry off a little before serving.

Put it away after 30-60 mins if you want to save otherwise it becomes a sloppy mess and will spoil.
